Plans for this years LYRA Annual Regatta are well under way. Co-Chairs Roger VanVlack and Colin Andrews for Ashbridges Yacht Club report that their comittiees are making great strides in putting together an exciting event for everyone. Many fleets have been personally contacted and as usual LYRA will tailor the event to include your championship or qualifying regatta.
ABYC is highly experienced in running regattas and they have a superb event planned for us this August.  Some of the key points are:
6 race courses
Addition of white sail fleet(s)
Addition of Multi-hull fleet(s)
Addition of single- and double-handed fleets
Centennial Race to be YYC to ABYC on Monday July 30
Founder’s race to be Sunday July 29 in Toronto area
Disabled sailors fleets

If your fleet is interested in making arrangements for participation or scheduling a championship event at he LYRA Annual Regatta please contact Colin Andews or LYRA at http://www.lyrawaters.org/LYRAContacts/Contacts1.html
